You will provide high quality advanced Prosthetic and Orthotic assessment, service planning, and direct clinical service provision as appropriate for clients who access the Orthotics and Prosthetics service and associated clinics. As an experienced clinician, you will apply significant clinical and leadership expertise to the delivery, development and continuous improvement of quality prosthetic/orthotic services across the Central Adelaide Local Health Network. Operating within a multidisciplinary service context, you will uphold professional standards and provide complex clinical and consultancy Prosthetic and Orthotic services across the Network, with specialist knowledge and expertise in Prosthetics management.

As a clinical leader, mentor and clinical supervisor, you will also be expected to provide clinical support, education and profession-specific supervision to AHP2, AHP1, TGO1 staff, and coordinate National Centre for Prosthetics and Orthotics student clinical placements. Holding an appropriate degree or equivalent qualification in Orthotics and Prosthetics, you will possess a high level of expertise in contemporary Orthotic and Prosthetic practice with specialist skills in Prosthetics. You must be confident in the supervision of staff and students, and be skilled in the formal evaluation of clinical practice, service development and quality improvement activities. With a calm, stable and approachable manner, you will bring the ability to interact with other people in a tactful, sensitive and ethical manner.
